We use RustDesk, free and open-source remote support software, running on our own server. You start each session, you can see everything we do, and you can end it at any time.
1. Install RustDesk
Download it from the official site, rustdesk.com (Windows, Mac and Linux), and open it. On a Mac, allow screen recording and accessibility for RustDesk when it asks.
2. Point it at our server (one time)
In RustDesk, open Settings, then Network, then ID/Relay server, and enter:
| ID server | rd.fallstechservices.com |
|---|---|
| Relay server | rd.fallstechservices.com |
| Key | BzV+jdHIFuTPirzFEIpA2lYFCP4oCAg4J2R6cs9yz20= |
Leave the other boxes empty and click OK. If you're not sure, we'll walk you through it on the phone.
3. Read us your ID and one-time password
RustDesk shows Your ID and a one-time password. Read both to us while we're on the phone or e-mail. We connect, you watch, and when we're done you just close RustDesk. The password changes every time.
Can't get it working?
E-mail [email protected] and we'll sort it out together.
